Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-03-02

By using CohortLab, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What CohortLab is (and isn’t)

  • CohortLab is a coordination platform for group testing rounds.
  • CohortLab does not provide medical, clinical, or legal advice.
  • Labs and vendors are independent third parties; they control their own products, services, and pricing.

Accounts and access

You are responsible for activity under your account. Do not share credentials. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

Chat: main rules (key concern)

  • No sensitive information: Do not post passwords, government IDs, full payment details, or other sensitive personal information.
  • Respect and safety: No harassment, hate speech, threats, doxxing, or illegal content.
  • Moderation: Group leaders/moderators and CohortLab may remove content, restrict access, or close chat when a group is complete.
  • No guarantees: Chat is provided “as-is.” We do not guarantee delivery, retention, or availability of chat messages.

Content and permissions

You retain rights to your content. You grant CohortLab the right to host and display your content as needed to provide the service.

Payments

Platform fees may apply (create/join/lifetime). Testing payments to labs are separate. Payment processing is handled by Stripe.

Service availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. Lifetime access means lifetime platform access while the service is available.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CohortLab is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
